I love making fun filled wedding films, full of celebration. I am doing this long enough to know how to put toghter a wedding film that my clients love and I am proud to share. But from time to time a wedding day comes and it inspires me to such a level that it get lost in the edit.

All the excitement for todays started when Rachel enquired. She was so excited for her big day and asked could she add one element to her wedding film. She wanted to get interviews done at some point during the wedding day. I said "of course" but "could I do it my way and with complete creative freedom" 

Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle

I have so much experience filming wedding days, but some of them don't always go to plan. It could be that the weather puts a spanner in the work, today had a fair share of challenges for me, and also for Rachel. Despite all the challenges it was truly the best day everyone could of had. 

I truly love my work, I love the opportunity to push myself to make the best narrative/ story that I can possibly tell from a wedding day. Today is the day I feel so proud to release this film. 

It was a day full of challenges but once I got to the interview part of the day I know I had something golden. I knew I could produce something that I was so proud of and it would really tell the story of Rachel and Padriac. 

It's a story about love, its a story about friendship and growth. It's got all the elements. Conflict, resolution, the pursuit of each other in their life and what it means to have found each other. Imagine finding something that has the ability to fill your life with everything you ever wanted and more. A relationship should be about working hard but Rachel makes it easy for Padriac. 

As a film maker, I want to push myself. I want to bring the viewer on a journey. I push myself to find connections in the words that are spoken but also to show multiple stories in the words and images meaning that each time the couple watch their film they might feel something new and fresh. Padraic talks bout seeing Rachel for the first time and how much her beauty has never changed, I want the viewer to hear these words about Rachel but also for Rachel to feel the same feeling about Padriac and the side story of the bond she has with her grand mother (who is in her 90s) I want the image of Rachels niece to represent herself when she was younger and running up to give her grand mother a hug or a kiss. Rachel's words " I want someone who can make me happy and make me smile" I want these words to be directed at Padriac but also to her family. This is just an example of subtle editing that have so many meanings depending on how the viewer feels on a day. I want to weave in and out throughout the day and as Rachel puts it "It moved like a piece of poetry"

Only the interview part of this film was directed. Also a few seconds of the photoshoot. The rest was just capturing the day as it was..

I wish words could express how moved and emotional the video made us. You managed to show us every drop of love, beauty, emotion and fun that came to us in spades on the day, you made us laugh, you made us cry.. The way you wove words in and out of delicate intimate moments was nothing short of poetic. It moved like a piece of poetry, words weaving in and out of  a visual feast. I particularly love the little spoon call back!

I remember saying to padraic the next day that I wish I could just bottle the feelings of love and remember every second from the day, That is exactly what you've given us. A bottled symphony of love. 

We are also so aware how challenging it was for you to create this Brian, and how much of yourself you put into creating it. We cannot thank you enough for putting so much of your time, patience, skill, vision, creativity, and ardency into creating something so special.

After a long break from weddings due to covid I am finally back. Today was just a perfect day with Shauna and Darragh. They had all their closest friends and family plus the wonderful Irish sunny weather. All in one of Irelands most beautiful venues Borris House 

When I look back over my work during this covid19 pandemic I would nearly say I enjoyed it. It gave me the freedom to be more creative and restrictions forced me to think out side of the box. 

This will forever be one of my favourite covid films. I have to truly thank Aysha and Kieran for the opportunity to capture their day.

We have nothing but absolutely amazing things to say about Brian's work. Having our day captured well was important to us but we were blown away with the quality of work and the creative mind that was behind it. We had to pause the video after a minute just to pick our jaws up off the floor. After all is said and done, our video is one of the few things left to remember the day by and we're both so glad we have it beautifully recorded and presented. 


Many family members and friends were not able to make it on the day due to Covid, which was unfortunate but at the very least we have our wonderful short film to share with all. I just know it's something we'll enjoy for years to come. 

On the day itself Brian was excellent and very professional. He was perfectly subtle and unobtrusive for most of the day but gently directed us when we needed it. He was easy to work with, friendly and flexible. Anyone will be able to tell what a truly talented artist Brian is from his work but everyone should also know that he's a kind and genuine person. 

Kieran and I will definitely be recommending Brian to friends and family.

Nothing can take this day away from Theresa and Tadgh. Not time or distance, not the power of the sea and long distance family members who couldn’t make it. 

The went a head with their civid wedding, made huge sacrifices but took up the challenge, embraced it and had one of the most amazing days of their lives. Family couldn’t make it but with a voice message speech from Tadghs brother and best man it meant that everyone was together in one room. Not with this film that I am so very proud of it means that the memory will last a life time.

I personally love when a wedding is different as it gives me a challenge and forced me to think outside of the box. I actually had the short film done when I realised the batsman speech. I am so grateful to Theresa and Tadgh for having me on their day as well and the chance to make a personal favourite story driven wedding film

Brian we are so grateful that you captured our wedding day! Our wedding film surpassed all our expectations.

House of Ren had been recommended to me by a good friend who knows the wedding industry well, I knew on her recommendation he must be exceptional. I had already followed Brian on Instagram for a while and was a fan of his work. 

Having contacted Brian I was so delighted he was available. He was such a pleasure to deal with and was great to communicate throughout our planning process. He was full of great advice and tips along the way. Planning a Covid wedding we were unsure of what lay ahead but he was always calm and reassured us that we would work with whatever we had to on the day.

On our wedding day Brian had such a lovely presence. From the moment he arrived to the bridal sweet he had a great energy and sense of fun. He has great creative vision and paid such attention to detail. He made us all feel so relaxed and comfortable. It was like we were around a friend rather than a supplier. 

We received a preview clip after the wedding . Having only 25 guests at our wedding the preview clip meant so much to us, as we could share it with friends and family who could not be there. It was so beautiful and gave us such excitement for what was to come.

We received our film recently and it brought us straight back to our wedding day! There may have been some tears shed! He captured the essence and the atmosphere of the day perfectly. Those memories and moments from our wedding day are eternalised in the most beautiful feature film. Brian’s work is so professional and even the delivery of our films were so well done. 

We had the most amazing wedding day full of love and happiness and we are so happy you were able to capture it for us!

We cannot speak highly enough of Brian, both of his skill level as a videographer and his genuine kindness as a person. We are so delighted that we chose to work with Brian to capture our special day. 

Right from the beginning when we first contacted Brian, he was so helpful and informative. It was clear that he was very friendly to deal with, and highly professional in regards to his work. 

Covid forced us to reschedule our original wedding plans, and Brian accommodated us for our new date with reassurance and understanding. Coming closer to our new date, when restrictions were changing frequently, Brian kept in touch with updates regularly and always kept the lines of communication open. 

Then on the wedding day itself, he worked like a silent ninja shooting! He did this while also somehow managing to get genuine smiles from a pensive little flower girl! He was completely unobtrusive and allowed our day to flow without any interruption or giving any direction. Brian captured the real moments as they were organically unfolding before him. 

When we looked back on our videos, we were blown away, as were all of our friends and family. On the day itself, I don't think we realised that Brian was shooting during the seemingly incidental moments, and those being included made the footage all the more precious. 

The shorter version was perfect to share with our circle of friends and family, as many missed out due to our restricted numbers. Many said that they felt as if they had been planted right in to the day just by looking at Brian's work. A few admitted to shedding a few tears when watching. The atmospheric music, angles and editing that Brian uses makes them so truly special.

We  cannot recommend Brian enough and we are so grateful for the memories that he has captured for us to relive and appreciate for years to come. 


First I'd like to say thanks to Mia and Brian for their amazing feedback. This day was truly unforgettable. It's amazing to see how a small wedding really becomes a big day in the lives of the couple and their guests. 

I personally love the wedding day. It's not work when you enjoy it so much. I love meeting all the different personalities from shy kids to chatting adults talking about cameras. It's my personal goal on a wedding day to let everyone be themselves and capture them naturally to show personalities.

We are in the middle of a global health scare. It doesn't mean we can't express our feelings and get married. Melissa and Allen didn't hold back and took this opportunity to tell each other how they really feel.

Covid left us no choice but to postpone our wedding but we knew in our own heart and soul that we wanted to be married on our wedding day regardless, where there was a will there was a way, nothing could have stopped us. 

When we reached out to Brian about postponing he advised us of our option to have him there to capture the ceremony so we could send it to our friends and family that weekend. We both have big families who were really disappointed to miss out on our day but knowing that they were going to get to relive it was a huge relief to them. When we received the video, it was just the icing on the cake for us. After such a tough year for everyone this brought so much happiness to so many people. For us, the best decision we made was to have a micro wedding on our original day and the next best decision was to have Brian there to capture it. A true professional, creative genius and all round amazing human. We can't wait to see him again in February. My advice to anyone who is on the fence about their wedding, just go for it. At the end of the day it all comes down to one thing, the two people on the top of that aisle and once you have them, nothing else matters.
