We cannot speak highly enough of Brian, both of his skill level as a videographer and his genuine kindness as a person. We are so delighted that we chose to work with Brian to capture our special day. 

Right from the beginning when we first contacted Brian, he was so helpful and informative. It was clear that he was very friendly to deal with, and highly professional in regards to his work. 

Covid forced us to reschedule our original wedding plans, and Brian accommodated us for our new date with reassurance and understanding. Coming closer to our new date, when restrictions were changing frequently, Brian kept in touch with updates regularly and always kept the lines of communication open. 

Then on the wedding day itself, he worked like a silent ninja shooting! He did this while also somehow managing to get genuine smiles from a pensive little flower girl! He was completely unobtrusive and allowed our day to flow without any interruption or giving any direction. Brian captured the real moments as they were organically unfolding before him. 

When we looked back on our videos, we were blown away, as were all of our friends and family. On the day itself, I don't think we realised that Brian was shooting during the seemingly incidental moments, and those being included made the footage all the more precious. 

The shorter version was perfect to share with our circle of friends and family, as many missed out due to our restricted numbers. Many said that they felt as if they had been planted right in to the day just by looking at Brian's work. A few admitted to shedding a few tears when watching. The atmospheric music, angles and editing that Brian uses makes them so truly special.

We  cannot recommend Brian enough and we are so grateful for the memories that he has captured for us to relive and appreciate for years to come. 


First I'd like to say thanks to Mia and Brian for their amazing feedback. This day was truly unforgettable. It's amazing to see how a small wedding really becomes a big day in the lives of the couple and their guests. 

I personally love the wedding day. It's not work when you enjoy it so much. I love meeting all the different personalities from shy kids to chatting adults talking about cameras. It's my personal goal on a wedding day to let everyone be themselves and capture them naturally to show personalities.

We are in the middle of a global health scare. It doesn't mean we can't express our feelings and get married. Melissa and Allen didn't hold back and took this opportunity to tell each other how they really feel.

Covid left us no choice but to postpone our wedding but we knew in our own heart and soul that we wanted to be married on our wedding day regardless, where there was a will there was a way, nothing could have stopped us. 

When we reached out to Brian about postponing he advised us of our option to have him there to capture the ceremony so we could send it to our friends and family that weekend. We both have big families who were really disappointed to miss out on our day but knowing that they were going to get to relive it was a huge relief to them. When we received the video, it was just the icing on the cake for us. After such a tough year for everyone this brought so much happiness to so many people. For us, the best decision we made was to have a micro wedding on our original day and the next best decision was to have Brian there to capture it. A true professional, creative genius and all round amazing human. We can't wait to see him again in February. My advice to anyone who is on the fence about their wedding, just go for it. At the end of the day it all comes down to one thing, the two people on the top of that aisle and once you have them, nothing else matters.

It’s by far one of my favorite venues to work in. It’s not just one aspect, it’s everything combined. Starting with the long driveway in to reveal its stunning walls and then when any member of the staff greats you,  it sets the tone for the day.

When arriving at Castlemartyr Resort for Dervla and Joe’s wedding I never thought this day would go the way it did. I never thought I would become a part of their wedding day story.

This was Dervla and Joe's big day, a day they have been planning for a few years and it’s finally here. Dervla and Joe were surrounded by their closest friends and family and it was perfect. What was about to happen next was going to show them how special their bond was.

I arrived as normal for morning prep. I greeted everyone and as usual, asked ” Has your photographer” so I can say hi. I was sure he was on his way but I got a sinking feeling. With the help of Instagram stories unfortunately I discovered that he was actually in Galway and not in Cork. It was the dreaded double booking that is our worse nightmare, unfortunately.

Dervla planned her dream wedding. Of course, the dream wedding was still going to happen but the feeling that all the memories may not be captured was too much to bear. I would never wish this on anyone but it happened and we had to come together to get through it. This had already happened at a previous wedding and I guess you could say I learned how to deal with it. So I got everyone together for a pep talk. The truth is this will be a magical day regardless. The only thing I could do is become the person who could steer the wedding back on course. Quickly everyone got on their phones to see who might be available. I am blessed to know so many photographers in the industry that when the name Egla (white cat studio) was mentioned I said yes! and tell her to come. I will be forever grateful to everyone that morning who followed the advice and forever touched by how supported the family/bridal party was for Dervla.

While I took photos and video, hair and makeup got back to work. We lost 30 minutes but I have to say the team really helped with the family/bridal party coming together to make this dream wedding come through.

Brian. We feel incredibly lucky to have had you with us on our wedding day. From the minute you arrived in the bridal suite your kindness and attention to detail were palpable but I had no idea of what to come! To say you saved the day is an understatement. We can never thank you enough for your reassurance, advice, time healing, and most of all your kindness. You totally steadied the ship and made sure we all stayed on track and got back to enjoying ourselves. We are forever grateful for everything you did that morning, and you had barely started filming yet. Throughout the day we hardly knew you were there and your guidance was fantastic. Our wedding film is far beyond anything we could have dreamed of. We are transported straight back to the day when watching it. You captured the most amazing moments and memories and we can never ever thank you enough. We had the most amazing day of our lives and a massive part of that is down to you. Thank you so much. Dervla and Joe got to witness the love and support they had from everyone. In my mind, this is what true family love is all about. I got to witness real love, real joy, and support all wrapped up in glorious golden light all day. I will never forget how trusting everyone was with me. This film will always remind me of what a true wedding is all about.
